Did this Climb on 8/13. Route conditions overall were very good almost no slush. Only had to cross one ladder at ~13,000ft. No major obstacles except we had very high winds summit day. To see more pics of the route/ladder check out a video I made. The end of the video shows the most technical features on the descent. https://youtu.be/P5pIG_Z1fZ4

This is a late report… hiked July 29th overall conditions were good but very steep snow turned around about 1mile from the look out. Made a video of conditions it can be found here: https://youtu.be/h84KX91CBXA

Hiked on July 2nd see video for accurate conditions. https://youtu.be/bDpkU0sZepM Snow started near the top of the pass snow was very Firm until sunrise, highly recommend getting a early start. over all trail is in good condition. I did the hike with no gaiters or crampons and was at the lake for sunrise(Lake is still frozen) overall great hike and saw lots of people who where unprepared for this hike. we continued from the lake to North Ingalls peak to do a quick rock climb and summit and upon decent snow was very soft.

Stopped by the trailhead on June 10th the road is still closed to Climbers Bivouac. Worm Flows from Marble Mtn Snow park is still the main route up the mountain. See video for current conditions as of June 10th: https://youtu.be/nV-ZixLx-mw

Hiked on June10th. Started at 3:00AM and encountered the first snow around 1-1.5miles up the trail. More conditions shown in this video: https://youtu.be/nV-ZixLx-mw The snow was consistent all the way to the rim although the rocks on the ridge are snow free. Take caution the cornice on the rim is still present and very dangerous. My group traversed counterclockwise around the rim till we found a edge with no cornice. Made a video of the hike you can find it here: https://youtu.be/nV-ZixLx-mw

Hello all, The following is a detailed report of my experience in the trail, a video of the hike that will show more details and updates can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZ9ovksdlqI&t=398s Started my hike at 6:15Am there was only one other car in the parking lot. my plan was to hike up the old trail to the top and then back down the new trail that way it would be nicer on my knees. I kept a solid pace of about 2MPH and reached the top just after 8am. There was a fair amount of snow that started about 1mile up the old trail. Upon reaching the summit the wind was very very strong despite only calling for 5mph winds. I used Crampons at the summit they were not necessary, but they did help. At the base of the boulder field, I changed into my running gear and ran back to the trailhead via the new trail. got back to the cars at 9:30am and drove home again Turned around and hiked down, I would like to say that the video gives a very good description of the current conditions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZ9ovksdlqI&t=398sng -Zach

Great route climbed on May 11th. there was a lot of ice fall mid day a climber actually got air lifted out from a fall at Red Banks... but great hike I Made a video along the way check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3GKFPFi34Q

(Hiked March 22nd 2019 via south side route on the Palmer Glacier) Made a video along the way, click the following link to see a better description of conditions as of March 22nd https://youtu.be/DK6t6HbufZw We started climbing right at midnight and hiked on the East side of the ski lifts up the cat tracks to the base of Crater Rock. From here on we roped up and headed to the East side of Crater Rock towards the Devils Kitchen. As we scurried around the base of Crater Rock towards the Hogsback there was a crevasse open towards the bottom of the rock. It was open but easily crossable, I actually stepped through the snow into it whoops. After that it was smooth sailing. The snow was in great condition with minimal avalanche danger. We went up through the pearly gates and decided to turnaround before reaching the summit due to soft snow on the summit ridge. The snow on the summit ridge was not suitable for anchors from this we concluded that our summit could wait for another day. Again here is the link for the video we made along the way https://youtu.be/DK6t6HbufZw Be Safe Out There, NW Adventures
