Big Canoe Nature Preserve is a new preserve opened in January 2024. There are several trails to explore with more planned.

Easy to just above moderate. The trails are well marked and are open to hikers, bikers and separate trails for horseback riding.

There is Slab Creek on one trail that is 2.5 miles and Big Canoe Creek on the other trails.

Plenty of parking for both cars and motorhomes.

Very nice experience. It will be gorgeous in fall.fall
