The Bartlett River Trail is a 4 mile roundtrip hike that winds through a spruce-hemlock rainforest.
The trail meanders through an intertidal lagoon, a spruce & hemlock forest, and ends at the Bartlett estuary. In the summer, expect to see otters, eagles, seals, moose, and bears. In the late summer, salmon run up the Bartlett River which attracts harbor seals. The trailhead is 1/2 mile up the road from Glacier Bay Lodge and Visitor Center.
