Easy hike with great views. Takes about an hour and half-2 if you don't stop. Bring skies. You can still ski down in summer.

Hike down the trail a bit more and jump off a bridge at Whistler Bungee.

This hike is perfect to go for a swim and cool off in the canyon shade. Short and easy

This Hike is 5 stars if it isn't busy, but if you go in the middle of summer it is miserable. And not because of the heat, but because of all the rude inconsiderate people. Go in the off season.

The best view in the Adirondack. Great hike to take the pup on.

This is a beautiful hike that I highly recommend, but be aware of high winds, I nearly lost my tent because I didn't stake it down when it was calm. Then in the middle of the night I had a tent pole break on me due to the winds. It caught me by surprise.

If you turn onto Forest Road 4785 before the turn off for the falls, you camp park right at the top of the falls. There is also a great little self serve campground there.

I spent three days here last summer and this lake is loaded with trout. I limited out every day. Don't forget your pole on this hike. Bring some spices, lemon and a little butter to cook them over the fire.

Antelope Island was a huge surprise. It offers great camping, sunsets and wildlife to photograph. I will definitely make plans to visit again.

Smith Rock is beautiful to hike and camp. I highly recommend making it a stop on your Oregon vacation. But, if you are looking for a little more of an adrenaline rush while visiting Smith Rock, you can drive ten minutes north on Hwy 97 to the Peter Skene Ogden Viewpoint at the High Bridge over the Crooked River Gorge. There you can bungee jump off the 300 foot platform that over looks the beautiful gorge and cascade mountains. It is the highest commercial bungee in North America!

Watson Falls may not be the tallest, but in my opinion it was the most spectacular. The hike is easy and it wasn't crowded at noon on a Saturday. You can also hike right to the falls with zero red tape. I haven't seen all of Oregon's waterfalls, but Watson Falls is better than the others that get all the hype.

This hike is a hidden gem with very unique photo opportunities. It is very enjoyable that the hike is very flat and not crowded. If you bring a dog be very careful crossing the train trestle.

I visited Cannon Beach on a recent road trip through Oregon and it was the best stop on my trip. I extended my trip just to stay an extra day. I camped at the Sea Ranch Park which is walking distance from town. The town also has great food and breweries. Make sure you add this stop to your trip!

The Devils Punchbowl is unique and offers some great photo opportunities at low tide, but if you miss the ability to hike into the punchbowl at low tide, then don't waste your time. The punchbowl isn't very impressive at high tide and you can only photograph it from above.

This waterfall is definitely worth seeing, but don't expect to be alone. I went at 9 am on a Thursday and it was still packed. I wouldn't waste your time with the hike to the top. You will get the best view from the visitors center.

This lake is one of the most picturesque campsite in the Sierras! Not only does it offer great photo opportunities, but great trout fishing as well! I plan to camp at Thousand Island Lake every summer. If you pack in a fishing pole and a water filter, you can leave food and water behind. Your back will thank you later!

This hike is perfect for the family or day hiker passing through Big Bend! If you are looking for a little exercise after hours in the car, this is the perfect trail run with a rewarding view, The way back is slightly uphill the entire way, so save some energy for the way back!
