ALLY HAYS

Super fun hike. Intermediate for sure, make sure you're comfortable with ridge walking, a bit of climbing, and scrambles. So beautiful!!! 360 views of mountains almost the whole time

Very gorgeous, a must see but don't do it if you want to get away from people for the day. Super busy!!

Such a gorgeous hike. The moraine lake start is very touristy but the higher you go, the less people are around you. When we got to Eiffel, we were the only ones on the mountain. You start in a bit of tree coverage for a while but when you get into the Paradise valley, it's sooo worth it. Make sure you follow a guidebook because it's somewhat confusing. The mountain itself is a scramble the whole way but it's different types the higher the elevation. Lots of cairns that help you get to the top. It's kind of confusing once you get to the false summit but just keep walking up. The views are fantastically rewarding. On one side is Mount Temple which is known to be the hardest hike in the banff area. You're surrounded by the paradise valley and can see Eiffel lake bellow. Some people call this hike "Mount Temple Jr." so if you're up for a challenge, it's the one to do.

Absolutely fantastic hike. Recommend 10/10. Make sure you park in the NORTH parking lot at upper kannanaskis lakes. It's the last parking lot so make sure you keep going on the road until you get to the end.

The views were absolutely gorgeous but it's definitely an intermediate hike. If your group isn't 100% sure footed, do the cirque. We struggled to keep to the trail and, when crossing the peaks, it was really hard not to fall. At the end, you see the highway which is both a relief and an annoyance. Would recommend but only for confident hikers!!
