Description

Added by Noah West

This hike brings you to one of the most unique waterfalls in Arkansas, Cedar Falls, and offers adventures in every direction.

When I did this hike it was unbelievable. This entire valley looks like something out of a painting. If at all possible, I recommend that you plan your trip around the rain, because after a heavy rain the valley is full of waterfalls.Getting there: Cedar Falls is located in Petit Jean State Park and is about an hour outside of Russleville Arkansas. The trail begins behind the breezeway at Mather Lodge, and winds down into Cedar Creek Canyon. Massive stone boulders and large trees adorn the trailside. The trail then follows Cedar Creek to 95-foot Cedar Falls.

This area is amazing, with waterfalls and massive boulders throughout the hike. The total distance is about two miles round trip and takes around an hour and a half.

Cedar Falls Reviews

Beautiful hike with an amazing waterfall waiting for you. Tough hike back out but worth it.

This is a great little hike, it’s not for the early beginner as the way back up can seem really steep. Do a hike a or two before you walk down to look at the falls.

Did this hike a few days ago. Short and sweet. The falls were nice, not as much water as I had hoped since it rained a lot the day before, but nice nonetheless
