Explore Norman Island

Norman Island, British Virgin Islands

Description

Added by Josh Currie

Norman Island is another must see if you are in the British Virgin Islands.

Norman Island is one of the more popular islands in the BVI's, with great snorkeling, hiking, and caves to explore. There is a restaurant in one of the perfect blue water bays that is also open during the high season.

There are no inhabitants on the island, except for wild goats. There are tales of buried treasure all over the island because of all of it's caves a long the shore as well as hidden bays. People still look for the treasure but nothing has been found in a very long time.

Overnight mooring is 30 dollars if you are interested in spending the night there but otherwise you can take a boat and cruise around to all the popular locations around the island.
