This was the location of my longest canoe trip - a 5 week expedition in Northern Ontario. Our route was a 650km loop from areas near Armstrong, ON, up through Wabakimi Provincial Park, and along the Albany River (runs into James Bay). This is a very remote wilderness and canoe trippers should be cautioned that the portages in this area are not maintained. For a full account of this trip, please send me a message and I would be happy to go over all the details of planning a trip in this area!
