Beautiful cascading waterfallsGreat for a mid-summer swimGreat SceneryDistance: 1kmTime: 15 minutes from the carpark to the falls
Myra Falls is a great spot to cool off while exploring Strathcona Provincial Park - the biggest provincial park on Vancouver Island. There are multiple falls and one beautiful swimming hole, with crystal clear cold blue water to dip into.
The falls are reached by turning off HWY 28 onto Westmin Road at Strathcona Lake. Follow Westmin Road for 36km until a dirt road leading off to the right takes you to the carpark for Myra Falls. Follow the walking trail from there down to the falls.
When there, exploring up and around will lead you to finding lots of smaller little dipping holes and some great scenery. Make sure not to rush, enjoy the scenery, take a book and relax!
