Description

Enjoy a week mountain biking at the stunning Sun Peaks Village Resort.
The trailhead marker marks the turn off the highway. Once on this road take a left onto Tod Mountain Rd. Once on this road, its just a straight shot unto the resort. Its a lengthy drive, but as long as you don't take anymore turns, then you are going the right way.
This is a beautiful village. The adventurous life is just booming. This village is used year round, whether its for mountain biking, alpine hikes, or a ski hill. You can bike to the doors of your hotel, and even just bike around the village after the lifts close for the night.
The highest elevation reaches 2152 metres (7060 feet), where the base elevation is 1255 metres (4117 feet). There are 135 runs, 10% beginner, 58% intermediate, and 32% expert. There are runs for every level of experience.
The lifts open early in the morning, and you can buy a lift pass almost anywhere in the village. The village has lots of restaurants, bike repair stores, shopping, spas, pools, arcades and so much more. This village has something to offer for everyone in the family. Theres even a driving range at the bottom of the hill for the who don't bike.
There is also the option to hike around the tops of the mountain, or just hang out on the lift all day and watch the bikers beneath you. This mountain is a must see. The mountain biking here is amazing. There isn't enough hours in the day to do all the runs, so definitely spend a few days here, either in a condo, hotel, or camping. From the switchbacks, to the jumps, there is endless amounts of trails and stunts to pull here.
BUT BE BEAR AWARE!! there are a lot of bears roaming the mountain!!
