Explore Wreck Beach
Vancouver, British Columbia
Description
Added by Shayne River
Gorgeous sunsets. Stair workout. Nude beach. Sandy shores.
Located on UBC Vancouver campus, Wreck Beach is the only nude beach in Canada. It is a popular destination for students and the public, and is home to the best sunsets seen in Vancouver.
To get to the beach, there is a descent of approximately 500 stairs, so be cautious - going down means having to come back up! Of course, it is optional to be naked while enjoying Wreck Beach; the sunsets are beautiful regardless of whether or not you are clothed!

Relatively popular busy beach. It’s also a nude beach for those who are into that, keep that in mind

Be prepared for lots of stairs to get down to the beach! Parking can kind of be difficult during the summer. This is also known as Vancouvers "nude beach" so don't recommend for families!

Come here after visiting the university or the museum. It's a point, so you get such great ocean views.

The beach is beautiful (and most people are at least partially dressed), but the stairs are quite challenging.
