A rock couch with awesome views, followed by a fast and flowy downhill.
Merlin View is a multi-use single track best ridden counterclockwise from the trailhead. Access the trail from the West Bragg Creek day-use area via Braggin' Rights trail at the marked junction with reconnect. There are a few junctions each well-marked to help you get to the trailhead. If you ride it counterclockwise you will begin with a gradual uphill. 3/4 of the way up there is a rock chesterfield to take a break and take in the views. Continuing up the trail you gradually wind through the forest passing one rock section dubbed "The Cheese Grater". Once at the top the trail follows a short downhill to another viewpoint out to the west before continuing down. The downhill section has phenomenal flow, mixing berms, rollers, and rock features. The end of Merlin View comes out just above the moose loop trail and it is a short up hill back to the trailhead.
