Barbour Falls Trail is an easy hike to a big beautiful cascading waterfall.
Barbour Falls is an easy hike through a forest that follows along Barbour Creek. The trail is mostly flat with some small uphill areas, and it crosses a small creek until it reaches a viewpoint just downstream of the falls and the canyon. During the spring run off a couple of other smaller waterfalls can be seen flowing into the canyon.
To reach this waterfall, take the road from Tumbler Ridge to Kinuseo Falls – turn to the right off the Boundary Road 14 km from Tumbler Ridge. This is the start of the Murray River Forest Service Road. The end of the pavement is reached at km 3.9, as the road passes the Quintette coal mine. At kilometer 21.5 there is a signed turnoff to the left, near a natural gas plant. Take this road, which crosses the Murray River after 500 meters and forks after another 500 meters. The right road leads to Barbour Falls, and the left road leads to Nesbitt’s Knee Falls.
There are very steep cliffs and drop offs at the view point with no fences, so be very careful where you stand. Scrambling down to the base of this waterfall is not recommended as it is very very steep.

Barbour Falls Trail Reviews
Very close to Nesbitt's Knee Falls. The trail is good and has short off shot trails on the way, but they are quite tough. You will need a four wheel drive vehicle to get here
