Explore Birds Hill Park
Oakbank, Manitoba
Description
Added by Rory Court
A quiet and peaceful place to get some fresh air not far from Winnipeg.
Birds Hill is the quiet short getaway for Winnipegers. A great place to make a short visit for fitness and leisure activities. There are plenty of paths available throughout the park for cycling, walking, rollerblading or whatever other activity you have in mind.
There are several nature trails available throughout the park. The North Drive offers more parking and trails immediately, however, if you want to enjoy the scenery before parking, take the South Drive as it loops back to North Drive at the end. Feel free to park your vehicle near any of the many trailheads and start down one of the many trails. There are both open and forested trails throughout the park and you can choose depending on your preference.
Note that Birds Hill is a provincial park and you require a Provincial Park vehicle pass in order to drive and park your vehicle in Birds Hill. Remember to pack out all garbage and leave the park in better condition than you found it!
