This is an amazing natural rock formation that is easily accessible any time of the year. Stop by in the summer to see a beautiful waterfall, or visit during colder months to view the beautiful scenery covered in snow.

Whether you are traveling north or south on the Trans-Canada Highway in Yoho National Park you will see a sign that directs you west to travel on Emerald Lake Road. When you turn west you will travel about one mile, or 1.6 km, and then you will see the parking area for the Natural Bridge. After parking you take a short walk over a footbridge to the viewing platform.

There are small trails around the water to get different perspectives of the bridge and a small trail to take you down to the shoreline of the Kicking Horse River.

We walked away from the bridge and there are several beautiful spots along the river to relax and get away from the potential crowds around the footbridge and viewing platform.

Explore the Natural Bridge in Yoho NP Reviews

This place isn't much of a hike, as a natural bridge is right beside the parking lot, what an amazing piece of land. Absolutely recommend checking this out if you are in the area, and climbing all over the natural Bridge, although be safe when doing so

My wife and I stumbled across this while exploring the area around Field in Feb 2017. The river and entrance to the cave under the bridge were completely frozen over. This allowed us to hang out in the cave, hear the river rushing underneath, and take in this unique place. It's a quick stop but one of the most beautiful sights we came across.
