The longest consistent run at any ski resort in North America. Amazing scenery, a great rush, and a lot of fun.

Start at the Creekside Gondola in the Whistler Creekside Village - The village that is closest to Vancouver. There is generally lots of parking in the parkade, although it can get very busy on the weekends. You will need a lift pass, which you can buy at guest services at the base of the Gondola. If you are a pacific northwest resident, look at getting an edge card, which provides you with a discounted lift ticket.

Once you are on the gondola, settle down for a nice ride to the top. At the top of the Creekside Gondola, head straight to the Red Chair which is located right in front of you. this will take you to mid-mountain. From the top of the Red Chair, you will see the Peak Chair down to skiers left. Take the short run down to the Peak Chair, and prepare for one of the most amazing chairlift rides in the world.

Once you have gotten off the peak chair, you have arrived. Take in the views and check out the many point of interest signs around the summit. Once you are ready to start the 7 mile/ 11km journey down, head straight off of the top of the peak chair towards the "Upper Peak to Creek" run. This run provides you with amazing views of Black Tusk, Cheakamus Lake, and Whistler village.

"Upper Peak to Creek" turns in to "Lower Peak to Creek" about half way down the mountain. At this point, your legs will probably be burning. Continue onwards down Lower Peak to Creek. At this point, you have left the alpine, and are now riding a tree lined run all the way to the valley bottom. If you feel the need, stop at one of the many rest stops along the way, or push on through to the bottom.

Upon returning to the base of the gondola, make sure you stop in at Dusty's for a beer and some nachos - You deserve it!

Ski the "Peak To Creek" in Whistler Reviews

This run is from the top of the Peak Chair all the way down to the Creekside Gondola on the Whistler side of the mountain. If you're snowboarding and decide to connect to other runs off the lower part of peak to creek, keep in mind that there are cat tracks, which lead to a fair amount of unclipping. It's important to note that if the lift's running, it closes at ~3pm. This makes for a great last run then straight into Dusty's for nachos and beer.
