Description

Added by Joe Bowser

Natural, undeveloped hot springs in the East Kootenays, with an excellent view of Lussier Creek.

This Hot Spring is found on the Whiteswan Lake Forest Service Road in Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, and is 35 minutes east of Canal Flats and Highway 93/95. This spot can get a bit busy on the weekends, but is family friendly natural hot spring. Each pool is a different temperature, with the hotter pools farther away from the creek. This spring is fairly busy in the afternoon, but if you get up early enough you are very likely to have the springs all to yourself.

Soak at Lussier Hot Springs Reviews

These springs are great year round. Easy access on a well maintained logging road. Worth the drive after a day of skiing at Panorama. Does get busy on weekend and afternoons. Go early or camp at the nearby campground for a shot at getting the spot to yourself.

Definitely an awesome spot! I've been looking for a natural springs like this for a long time🙌🏻

The hot springs were a perfect temp (both pools) on a recent winter visit. Make sure you have micro-spikes or traction for the walk down. There was a lot of trash around the pools that I cleaned up, please do the same if you visit.

These are a set of really awesome hot springs and worth the drive to get to them. Not as busy as you might expect given the ease of accessibility. Our son who is 2 loved them and the water temperature was perfect for him. We can't wait to return.

The road is windy and narrow with logging trucks going at extremely fast speeds, but once you get past the sketchy cliffy road it is a quick walk down the the Hot Springs. Tip: Bring candles if you plan to be there past sunset as there is not lighting there. If your feeling adventurous trying dipping into the river and then back into the hot pool for muscle recovery... oh and people think your hardcore!!
