If you haven't seen my first post about this stunning lake in the Dolomites, you can find it here.

Lago Di Braies (also known as the Pragser Wildsee or Lake Prags) is a stunning lake in the heart of the Dolomites. During the summer months its crystal clear turquoise waters make it one of the most beautiful alpine lakes you'll ever see. It's a popular spot for locals to hike as well as tourists who want to post pictures of its famous boathouse to their Instagram feeds.

While ski touring in the area this winter, we decided to stop by our favorite lake and see how it looked in the wintertime. While I did miss the beautiful clear turquoise waters, I hope you'll agree that even in winter it's rather breathtaking.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!
