Snorkel at Spotts Beach

Savannah, Cayman Islands

Description

Added by Brandyn Murray

The beach is really a great spot to get away from the crowd of downtown or 7 mile beach.

Spotts beach is great location for snorkeling. It is located off Shamrock Road in Spotts Newlands area of Grand Cayman. You can get to the beach by car or bus but parking space is very limited. Most people park on the opposite of the road. The beach is very attractive toward snorkelers that want to get out and explore the water. You will find a good amount of sea life including one of our national animals the Cayman Sea Turtle.

The beach is surrounded by ironshore cliffs with white sand beaches. The beach provides both sunrise and sunset because of the location on the south side of the island.

If you are wanting to have food or a cookout there are also two cabanas that you could set up shop to your convenience.
