Beautiful stargazing hike to summit one of Colorados 14ers close to Denver just minutes off I70

One of Colorados 14ers and a quick drive out of Denver. Leave early morning to reach the peak before sunrise. Stargazing is stunning at this elevation and the hike is friendly enough to accomplish in the dark. Don't forget a head torch and something warm for the top. Great for all levels, I summited at a brisk hike/jog with enough energy to jog down. Take caution around wildlife at all times met a moose in the dark in the tall shrub at the bottom of the trail give these boys plenty of space. Enjoy a meal in town before you hit I70 and miss the AM traffic. Check Colorado14er website for driving directions, weather, elevation details and estimated hike times.
