Description

Added by Bryan Young

Radium Hot Springs is a short hike that will take you to a beautiful and relaxing hot spring that sits adjacent to the Colorado River. It’s a perfect place to chill with friends, have a scenic picnic, or relax after a nice hiking trek.

The Parking Area & Trailhead have been updated by the BLM from the previous starting point at Mugrage Campground, which is no longer open.

The BLM has also built a relatively short and easy trail from the new parking area to the hot springs. The springs are not too hot, about 80-90 degree F as they mix slightly with the cool Colorado River that flows adjacent to the spring.

There is free camping atop the ridge on the BLM land. As always, remember to follow Leave No Trace principals and use pre-made fire rings.

Radium Hot Springs Reviews

Campsite is right off the highway with 2 secluded spots but totally worth the short hike to radium springs!! Enjoy

There is a short hike up and minor climb down to get to the springs and before you know it, you're there! This place was absolutely beautiful. I went with a couple of co-workers and they cliff jumped into the river while I soaked in the springs. The river is high right now so the springs can be a bit cold but I had a fantastic time. I'll be back.

Awesome spot, pretty remote place, sadly I went when the springs were still cold but can't wait to go back and camp!

Amazing... That is all
