Hike to the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado at a stunning 365 ft in length.

Park at the Pandora Mill just east of Telluride and lace up your footwear of choice. At 1.2 miles to the base of the falls with 850 feet of gain, this can make for a great thigh burning hike or run. The trail is a gravel road that eventually passes a gate to further trails up the Bridal Veil Basin.

Photographing this falls can be extremely difficult at the base due to the heavy mist and the best angles are along the road. The power plant at the top of the falls is private and not open for visitors.

Hike to Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride Reviews

What a great spot and truly the "Switzerland" of the U.S. Take the trail from the lower parking lot and hike past three waterfalls before you get to Bridal Veil Falls. A great morning activity the power of the falls is incredible to see. A great place for photos and always great weather in the summer.

Be in decent shape before attempting. Also, you will meet vehicles coming off of Black Bear Pass. Be aware they do not have much shoulder of the road to share with hikers.

Doing this trail in the midsummer heat was a bit rough but allowed for gorgeous views of the valley and waterfall!

A lovely Telluride walk up a mining road that does narrow near the canyon walls.Got right under the falls and felt the spray!!! Its high altitude here.Enjoy!

Great family hike we went threw the trail to the top with our boys (8YO, 5YO) we were nervous it was going to be to much for them. but it was great for all of us! we had a picnic at the top. also saw some trash please keep it clean guys
