Hike to the giant marble Yin Yang in Snowmass Village CO and get a beautiful 360 degree view of the area. This is a quick hike that has a lot to offer. From wild deer, beautiful flowers and epic vistas this a must do hike in Snowmass Village.

Snowmass Village is located 15 - 20 minutes west of Aspen Colorado off state highway 82.

Once in Snowmass Village, take Brush Creek road almost to the top of the hill until the road splits with Divide road (If you have made it to the Snowmass Village mall, you have missed the road and must turn back). Take Divide road and a couple of seconds up the road you should see a free parking area on the left hand side. There should be a sign in the lot that says "Rim Trail Parking". Park your vehicle, and the trail head will be across the street back down the road a little bit.

The trail is fairly gradual with many switchbacks. Along the way you can enjoy seasonal wildflowers and beautiful views of Mt. Daly and Capital Peak. If you get lucky you might run into deer grazing in the fields. Once you reach the top you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Snowmass Village and a beautiful marble ying yang symbol in the ground.

Hiking back down is another 1.3 miles, making this a 2.6 mile round trip, but going down is much easier than coming up.

*Remember to bring plenty of water in the summer months and also be aware that this trail is frequently used by mountain bikers so keep your eyes peeled around turns.

Hike to Spiral Point (Yin Yang), Snowmass Reviews

Enjoyed this hike! Little climb to the top of the mountain where the ying yang is located and it spirals around back down the hill. Lots of Mountain bikers but overall 5 stars!
