Enjoy a stroll along the 3 mile loop within the 107 acre fenced-in Cherry Creek Off-leash area. This is one of the best dog parks in the Denver metro area.

Cherry Creek Dog-Off Leash Area is an extended part of Cherry Creek State Park and encompasses 107 acres of fenced-in play area. Within the park there is a 3 mile loop trail that takes you through the trees and along the Cherry Creek. What makes this park so great is the several access points to the river itself and the availability for your pups to go for a swim. While the river is not as utilized in the winter, my dogs still went plunging in and loved it! The park can get busy on weekends, but I was still able to find parking on a Saturday. This is such a wonderful park for being so close to the city, I highly recommend a doggy play day here!

Walk the Cherry Creek Dog Off-Leash Area Reviews

Great park for you and your pup. The creek is great on a hot day. The rest of the park has very little shade but a ton of space to run. There are always plenty of other dogs to play with if your dog is social. If you go on the weekend when the weather is warm, expect a wait to enter the park after 10am.

This was such an amazing place! The only thing I was concerned about if the lack of shade. But other than that, great walk, dogs, river and people!
