This is the spitting image of what you see in the Oregon tourism commercials. Depending on the season, the water level will vary.

This is a short hike that leads to an incredible water fall. You can even go underneath it and see it from behind! I also really like how this looks just like the name says

St Johns bridge is one of the prettier bridges in Portland. It's super beautiful at night.

This is a great place to watch the sunset. You get great views of the Portland skyline. Would definitely want to picnic hear next time!

Very cool Japanese styled Garden. It's a great place to spend the afternoon.

This is one of the nicest gardens in the US in my opinion. The best time to visit is summer!

Great place to catch a view to the Columbia river. When the weather is warm, people will be out and about here.

Fun place to paddle that over looks the Seattle skyline. The best time to paddle is during the summer months, when the weather is warm and the sun stays out late.

This is an easy hike with really nice views of the ocean. You basically go along hwy 1. I did the trail that goes down to the cove, but there is another that takes you to Montara.

This is a picturesque beach with tall cliffs on one side. You have to do a teeny hike down to the beach. There is parking in a turnout across the road. It's a fun little place to explore, and there are usually no crowds. I think this is also a nude beach.

It rained so hard when we got here we ended up only doing part of the hiking. There were a lot of people making the trek out to the pools, but we decided it was getting too slippery and the rain was not letting up. This is usually the last (or first) stop on the road to hana. Make sure you have enough food with you, we only had a bag of cheeks left for the drive back. Also they sometimes close the road at the end, so you can't continue around the island but have to backtrack instead.

This is one of the most popular stops when in Rome. It's really cool to see, but we didn't spend much more time here than to take some pictures

This is a great place to watch the sunset. There's a little bit of a hike down to the beach. but once you get there it is relatively secluded. Not many people on a weekday evening.

This is a great medium length hike. Not too long, but still gets you out into nature. If looking for something longer try the Fall Creek trail. Also the natural foods market in Felton has great smoothies for post hiking snacks.

This picnic spot has iconic views. It's a good place to take a break from exploring the city. It will pretty much always be crowded.

Palos Verde has some surprisingly beautiful hikes! It's crazy to think that the hustle and bustle of LA is just a few miles north.

This is a punchy beach break in Malibu. It's very exposed to the wind so it can get blown out pretty easily, but its a fun summer time spot to spend a day at the beach.

We spent about a half day here while on Maui. We got here super early since we had read reviews of parking getting pretty bad, so didn't want to risk it. it was very nice, especially in the early morning when there's not a lot of people yet

I loved this road because there are so many great places to stop! You can easily spend the whole day here.

This beach is super convenient for those staying in princeville. You can easily walk from homes in princeville to Wyllie beach, and anini beach is right next to it.

This could be a beautiful place as the name makes you think, but there are so many people, and since there are no trash cans (and even if there were) people leave beer cans and other trash lying around. This is not ok.

This is a great spot for beginners. When first learning or renting, club ed has some really nice instructors.

This was maybe my 3rd or 4th hike ever, and I'm glad it was because it helped fuel my love for hiking! It's got great views of the trees on mountains when you're near the top, and closer to the bottom you can find soooo many banana slugs.

A friend recommended this place to me when I first started hiking. I'm glad I went! It's a great place to get introduced to hiking and offers cool views.
