Judd Trail, located near Honolulu, offers a peaceful loop hike through lush forests with bamboo groves and large banyan trees. It’s known for its relatively short loop, making it suitable for families and beginner hikers. The trail also leads to the scenic Jackass Ginger Pool, where many visitors cool off and enjoy a natural waterfall.
The trail is dog-friendly, but dogs should be kept on a leash, as the terrain can be muddy and slippery, especially after rain. It’s a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, especially those looking for an easy and refreshing outdoor adventure.
Water shoes or hiking boots are recommended as you may need to cross a small stream. Although the trail is well-marked, it’s good to download the map below in offline mode in case you want to explore any side trails.

Judd Trail Reviews
Beautiful trail. Parking is on the street. There are a few challenging spots, like getting down to the water and back up. But not too bad. Bring a change of clothes, towel, and bug spray. Lots of mosquitoes on this one!
