Cooks Lake located near Bonners Ferry, Idaho is a great destination for relaxing or bringing your fishing pole (whether fly fishing or using a spin rod -- don't forget your fishing license). You're able to gain access very close access to the lake (especially on quads or side by sides) or you can park and walk roundtrip 1/3 mile to the lake. 

This is a great spot to bring the whole family.

Great place to spend the day. You can get to the lake on a quad or side by side… maybe a keep if you know what you’re doing. There’s a pretty decent hill at the beginning that would make getting a vehicle up tough. You’re able to walk around the lake and very doable for kids of any age
