About this place

Added by Rose Freeman

Tubbs Hill is a 2-mile loop trail located near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. There are amazing lake views, beaches to explore and year-round accessibility on this trail.

Looking for a short adventure hike on a road trip or a beach to hang out at for a weekend? Tubbs Hill features a 2 mile loop trail that winds along the shoreline of Lake Coeur d'Alene and through an Inland Northwest pine forest. You will see wildlife such as deer, squirrel, and many wildflowers in the summer! Several pebble and sand beaches branch off from the trail along the shore.

If it's warm, wear a swimsuit! Also, bring your snowshoes for a snowy winter trek from December-February!

Post Hike

Our favorite place to stop for food after hiking Tubbs Hill is the Bakery by the Lake located at 601 East Front St. Happy exploring!

My absolute favorite "in-town" park. Come here every week. Love it in the off season, but crowded in the summer (of course!).
