Tubbs Hill Reviews

This is a nice place to get out when you don’t have the time to drive out of town for a hike. It is a busy trail because it is right in town but worth the views! There are also little caves you can go through and explore.

Absolutely LOVED this beginner/intermediate “hike” loop!! The lake is off to your right, always in view, for 75% of the loop. It is so stunning! Very easy to walk with kids, especially ages 6+. Bring water and your camera, & a snack or two if you plan on taking your time. The most beautiful trail I’ve been on, for such scenic views!!

Fun round trip with great views of the lake and Couer d’alene, all the way around. Half the trail is coastal and the second half climbs over the hill with views over the town. Our three year old made it with a few brief rests. Lots of little beaches to explore on the route and a fun suspension bridge towards the end. Loop route.

One of the prettiest hikes I've been on, so many wild flowers and during a cloudy rainy day there was no one around. Many small trails all leading up to lookouts or down to the beaches. Very easy hike, no experience needed and easy access. Map take you straight to a gate then you continue on foot.

Fun easy hike up to series of cliffs perfect for cliff jumping for the scared or the daring! The lake is beautiful and further down the trails are some nice beaches and swimming areas. Right next to downtown if you want to grab a beer or some ice cream afterwards!

Best Cliff jumping at Coeur d'Alene lake and in the hole area. People come from Spokane just to hop into the water from here
