Absolutely amazing camping and such a unique ecosystem. I’ve never quite experienced anything like it, and this ecosystem is the only one like it in the world. And the stars are phenomenal - it’s one of the darkest places along the southeastern coast. You can camp in style next to water, showers, free firewood, a shower, and laundry machine, with hiking trails and the exit path close by, or you can camp primitively. Both options are wonderful depending on your intention, but the primitive surely is an amazing experience. Also, if you just want to see the stars and drive home, you can! They have an observation area right outside the park. To the person who made this post, put the milky way picture first! It’s definitely one of my favorite aspects, outside of the amazing ecosystem (you will see plenty of wildlife)

One of the most surreal experiences of my life. When you initially hike to the boardwalk which overlooks the lake, you may encounter many tourists during the summer months, but when you take a brisk hike to another vantage point, the crowd diminishes. There are two perfectly set rocks to sit and soak in this amazing lake. Out of all the fantastic lakes in Alberta, this is one of the finest.

Exploring the immersive Icelandic Southern coast is like nothing else. Exploring small farming villages and seeing quaint little homes built into rocks is quite an amazing experiences. Their are massive waterfalls along the way, and many are cluttered with tourists. But if you continue on long enough, you will find Iceland's hidden jems all to yourself.

There are much better hikes around Central Florida to do than this one. If you are a beginner and want a brisk hike, this is the one for you.

If you want to find a great 2-day canoeing trip, this is the place. A group of friends and I went down this river which connects to Silver Springs and the Saint Johns River. If you have a little extra time you can travel upstream and check out Silver Springs, which has pristine water. While you are traveling down the river, you will see abundant wildlife, such as birds, turtles, alligators, and yes, even monkeys. There is a fun cliff jump that has a rope swing attached which makes this place even more amazing. If you want to experience Old Florida and hang out with friends, this is the place!
