Making it's way from Coffs Harbour to Armidale, the aptly named Waterfall Way winds through a diverse range of landscapes, offering breath taking views along the way.

Take The Journey..

Linking Coffs Harbour and Armidale, Waterfall Way weaves through a diverse range of landscapes, covering some of New South Wales' best National Park's over its 185km course.

Coffs Harbour lies 400km south of Brisbane and 600km North of Sydney. Waterfall Way can be accessed via the Highway from either direction. Of course Google Maps is always there to lend a helping hand.

I'll be showcasing some of my favourite destinations along this epic drive.

Crystal Shower Falls

Crystal Shower Falls is located in the Dorrigo National Park. After winding your way up through the mountains you'll see the turn off for the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre on your right. From the Rainforest Centre take another right to follow Lyrebird Lane to The Glade Picnic Area. Here you will find numerous treks and all the information you need to get to Crystal Shower Falls. Be sure to cross the suspension bridge and trek behind the falls!

Dangar Falls

Located only 2km north of Dorrigo, this spectacular waterfall is set amidst scenic agricultural and dairy farmland. You'll find good signage from Dorrigo on how to get to the falls. There is also a short trek to the base of the waterfall where you can take a swim and capture that epic shot!

Ebor Falls

Located just outside of the quiet town of Ebor, watch the Guy Fawkes river plunge 100m over two waterfalls. The falls are well signposted from Waterfall Way, and offer a picnic area and stunning views.

Wollomombi Falls

If you're like me and you come here at the wrong time, then you won't find much of a waterfall at all, never the less, the views are still stunning! You'll find the falls easily as they are well signed from the main road. If you're lucky enough to come after heavy rain then you will witness the Wollomombi River plunge over 200m into the gorge below!

So if you're on the east coast of Australia and looking for a route that offers the most views per mileage, I highly recommend this journey!
