Attend a Beach Cleanup with The Surfrider Foundation

Meet new friends and spend some time outside as you help out an incredible cause.

By: Joseph Gulizia + Save to a List

Attend a beach cleanup with your local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. It is an awesome and easy way to get involved in your community. You not only get to take part in the principals of Leave No Trace, you get to meet some awesome like-minded people in the process.

They supply you with gloves, buckets, and a tool to pick up garbage. It is the perfect way to volunteer some of your time and get outdoors on a weekend.

To get involved visit the Surfrider Foundation website and find your local chapter. You will be able to find more information about any upcoming events and beach cleanups!

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!

Do you love the outdoors?

Yep, us too. That's why we send you the best local adventures, stories, and expert advice, right to your inbox.
