A truly unique mountain bike experience in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. A lift-assisted 17 mile downhill descent with 5,500+ drop in elevation.
The Downieville Downhill is a world class single track experience. Check in at the Downieville Outfitters to reserve your shuttle service to the top of a 17 mile downhill descent. More info located here: http://www.downievilleoutfitte...
Trail conditions can vary greatly from top to bottom so be prepared to ride a variety of technical, fast and even loose single track through old mining trails in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Great for group rides and weekend adventures from the San Francisco Bay Area. Be sure to arrive early to enable more than one descent per day. Allow plenty of time before dark to descend.
