Born and raised in Arizona, I have a deep love of my home state! When I'm not working, you'll find me on a hiking trail, swinging in a hammock or paddling a kayak. And I'm always on the search for the next perfect camping spot.

Great hike when the weather is nice - however, unless you've done heat training, I would avoid in hotter summer months. Bring more water than you think you need. Lots of college kids, since it's so close to ASU :)

Walking the Seine was one of my favorite excursions in Paris. We grabbed a baguette and some cheese from a bakery along the way, and sat on a bench to enjoy. It was simply wonderful. Lots of street performers too!

The first time we tried to do this excursion, my mom and I encountered a full parking lot and had to postpone. But we had success at the second attempt (we didn't go on the weekend). Great views, but very very popular. Bring you camera!

I was able to visit Rainbow Harbor with my dad when I visited him in Newport Beach - we drove up and down the coast, and this was one place we stopped for an impromptu picnic lunch. Easy and relaxing.

The reviewer is correct, when you fly into Jackson Hole, you will get probably the best views of the Grand Teton Mountain range possible! I lived in Jackson Hole with my mom when I was younger, so we flew in and out of this airport frequently. My favorite part was the fact that you had to disembark via stairs onto the runway (I thought this was so cool, ha!). The actual airport is very authentic WY :)

I was able to visit this town when I was younger, and I remember being thrilled with how friendly everyone was. There are elk EVERYWHERE, I was amazed. Wonderful photo ops, great food. Highly recommend a stop in this town on your way into (or out of) Yellowstone!

I was lucky to live in Jackson Hole for a bit when I was younger, and I have wonderful memories of driving this route. The reviewer is 100% correct, if you drove straight through it would be about 4 hours, but you'll DEFINITELY want to stop a million times (there's so much beauty!!). Great photography opportunities along the way.

Seattle is one of my favorite places to visit! I was able to have a picnic in this park the last time I was there with my mom. Was quite busy, but it was a Saturday, so it was to be expected. Lots of green space, great views.

Really incredible destination! Make sure to take one of the walking tours, the history that they share is super interesting. The preserved mother holding her child gave me chills...

Short and sweet! Great examples of the petrified wood, lots of great photo opportunities.

Great lake, not too far outside of Phoenix. Great spot for kayaking :)

This is a wonderful spot to relax and watch the sunset. That being said, be careful if you bring kiddos, part of this beach has nakkie people :)

We arrived here too late in the day - lucked out and found a parking spot, but it was SOOOOO busy. Hoping to go back in a few months with my hubby and give it another try!

If you’re hiking in the area, this trail is a no brainer add on! Great views of the lake and it wasn’t too busy when I went in late spring (the snow was just melting).

My favorite hike in Lake Tahoe, by far! Very busy and parking at the trailhead fills fast, so make sure to get there early. The views are perfect - can’t wait to go back!!

But don’t be surprised if you see some nakie people :) My mom was caught off guard, ha! Beautiful views, with great boulders. Makes for lovely pics! Amazing kayaking and SUP opportunities!

Wonderful place to catch a sunset while in Tahoe. It was really busy when I was there, so come well before sunset to get a good spot!

Short and strenuous, but worth every bit of effort. Perfect for sunrise and sunset, but it’s busy. Go early!

You’ll have views of the exclusive resort for the first part of this hike, but it won’t matter because you’ll be too busy staring around you in awe! This is one of the prettiest hikes Sedona has to offer. And if you’re in the know, you’ll be able to find the ruins located off trail :)

When the temps in Phoenix climb, it’s time to go up north and find your favorite swimming spot! Oak Creek is super popular and with good reason. It’s just so very beautiful! If you visit just make sure you’re being good stewards and packing out your trash.

Great trail! Just make sure to keep an eye out for the Jeeps filled with tourists - there’s a ton of them on this trail!

Great hike with views of Devils Sinkhole and Seven Sacred Pools. And if you’re in the know, there’s a super secret cave along this trail :)

You can’t go wrong with this hike! I’ve done both routes (under the bridge and to the actual bridge) - both bring wonderful photo opportunities. Really busy though, do get to the trailhead early!

Love Broken Arrow! But be careful, the jeep tours can surprise you! Bring lots of water and make sure to practice LNT principals!
