Watch the sun sink behind the awesome Canadian Rockies at this KOA's quiet, peaceful setting. Three creeks border the beautiful clean-air campground in an open, treeless meadow at the foot of the mountains. It's a perfect base for trips to area parks. The entrance to Jasper National Park is 15 minutes away. Marvel at this park's rugged peaks, blue glaciers and wildflower meadows. Wildlife is abundant, including bighorn sheep. Ride the aerial tramway 3,281 feet to the summit of Whistlers Mountain for views of six mountain ranges, teal-green glacial lakes and rivers. Take to hundreds of miles of trails on foot or drive the lovely Icefields Parkway that winds south along the Continental Divide to Banff National Park. Or head north: KOA is 1 km west of Highway 40, the scenic route to Alaska. This KOA was voted one of the "Top 50 Scenic Views" by ReserveAmerica. Max pull thru: 85 feet.

Campground alright for a quick stay over but would not recommend for multiple nights. It is an hour drive to the town of Jasper so not very convenient for touristing around. There are more washers/dryers out of order in the laundry room than those in working order. It was a quiet stay though nonetheless
