This is a nice hike for any level of hiker with a couple different trails branching off of the main one. There is also a decent chance of seeing a herd a Tule Elk that are in the area. There is also a great Wildflower area in the right season.
This area is a family friendly hiking area for beginners. The farthest place to hike on the map is call Reflection Pond and is about a 7 mile hike out and back. The main trail called San Emigdio Trail runs right next to a stream the whole time. It is a really nice area for a day hike to find some solitude or scenic views. This area also has a mountain biking trail as well.
