Description

Added by The Outbound Collective

The Tablelands Trail in Camden, Maine offers a moderate hike with scenic views and diverse terrain. Parking is easy, and the trail is not crowded, making it a peaceful outdoor escape. There are beautiful natural surroundings, although the rocky paths and tree roots require careful footing. The trail is also dog-friendly, with bathrooms available, and is in great condition overall.

The Ocean View Lookout offers great views and is a highlight of this hike. You consider branching off to add Adam’s Lookout if you have the energy, but it may not be worth the extra distance for everyone.

The trail can get slick during rain, so it’s advised to take your time in wet conditions. Despite the steep terrain in some areas, like the climb from the parking lot to Mount Battie, the trail is well-maintained and marked, making it easy to follow.

Tablelands Trail Reviews

Its $6 per person to get into the park. A few parking options can impact the length of the hike. Well marked, uphill to the top, mostly over big rocks. Great hike, great views!
