Stunning lake views, native wildlife, and peaceful woods. What's not to love about the Black Hill Regional Park Loop?

The Black Hill Regional Park has 1300 acres of oak forests that have views of the Little Seneca Lake. This lake offers a place for visitors to canoe and stand up paddle board. 

This trail is open to hiking and mountain biking. In addition, dogs are welcome to use the trail but must be on leash at all times. There are picnic tables available for use, making this trail and area very family-friendly. Trail is accessible year round. 

Parking: Ample parking is available in the picnic area of the park, along Lake Ridge Drive. A Trail Guide may be obtained at the Visitor Center. Hard surface trail is accessible from Visitor Center and Picnic lane. Trail has gentle inclines.

Not a bad spot for a looped run. The trail was easygoing and sure-footed. I wore my road-running shoes and found it to be okay.
