Colonial history, natural beauty, and a covered bridge make for a fulfilling excursion near Kingsville, Maryland.

This is a moderately rated hike that features a river and quite a few hilly sections. The trail is known to be rather muddy, so be sure to wear appropriate waterproof footwear. Note that some sections of the trail are not well marked. You may want to review a map before embarking.

There is parking for trail access at the Jerusalem Village visitor parking lot. Spots are quite limited. Visit during off peak times to increase your chances of finding a spot with ease.

The trail is accessible year-round and is both family and dog friendly. All dogs should be kept leashed. Check this spot out to enjoy scenic river and forest views while getting your blood pumping.
