Thurston Griggs to Appalachian Trail to Black Rock Reviews
This was a fun hike. We had to cross the same stream back and forth about half a dozen times, so heads up. We brought our dog and he enjoyed himself a ton. This is not the easiest hike to do with younger kids, just for the distance combined with the elevation gain. The view is beautiful up at the cliffs. Pack a snack to sit and enjoy it for a bit. (Not to scare anyone off, but especially at the top where there's lots of cracks in the rocks, you can also find lots of critters, including snakes. Don't stick body parts blindly into holes and cracks.) Also, make sure that you wear good shoes that can handle the dirt, rock, and wet rocks, as you will experience all of them.
