I only experienced Manarola and Corniglia, but it was gorgeous and totally worth it. I visited in September and it was still pretty hot outside but I also visited in November and this was definitely not the time to visit (torrential rain and most of the stores/restaurants are closed)!

I showed up on a Saturday at noon in the rain and there were still many people ready to take on the challenging hike. The first part definitely feels like rock climbing rather than hiking. Grip gloves are highly recommended. The pouring rain made it an even greater challenge because there was thick mud and the humidity was high so I broke a sweat fairly early! There were people of all ages taking on this hike which thoroughly surprised me. Start on the white trail and then take the yellow trail down for some beautiful valley views and a nice creek (pictures attached)! Bring food and really good hiking shoes! Ending in cold spring is also a really good choice because you can see the beautiful village.
