Cenote Angelita is an off-the-beaten-path area south of Tulum. The cenote is not heavily advertised, and so does not see the crowds that others nearby do.

The cenote is in a limestone depression, with the stone walls surrounding the water. There is a ledge to jump from, and a deck at water level to climb in from.

The cenote is a popular spot for divers because of the water's clarity and depth stretching further than 60 meters below the surface. There are some stalactites, but the area of interest for divers is a conical mound of sulfate formed by debris which has sunk to the bottom of the cenote over time.

The water is cooler, and overall it makes for a nice swim in an hidden gem of a cenote.

There is no lifeguard or equipment for rent.

Cenote Angelita is open daily from 9am-5pm. Admission for swimmers is MX$100 per person.
