Description
Added by Nick Henke
This scenic 2.5 mile round trip hike is located just over an hour north of the Twin Cities. It offers beautiful views of the St. Croix River, which you can view from both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The trailhead starts at the visitor center of Interstate Park, on the Minnesota side, located in the town of Taylor's Falls. The hike weaves its way through the wood and has its ups and down. Be sure that you have good hiking boots on and warm clothes. The hike leads its way to a peninsula like rock formation near one of the parks parking lots, which is closed this time of year. This hike has amazing views and is best with friends. Should take about 1.5-2 hours to complete, with taking into consideration photos and resting.
