Hike to and Photograph the Waterfall at Line Creek

Head out to Line Creek Trail in Kansas City, MO where you'll find a photogenic waterfall. The trail stretches 8.25 miles currently with plans for extension. The closest trailhead to the waterfall is located near the Line Creek Community Center and Ice Arena (5940 NW Waukomis Dr, Kansas City, MO 64151). 

From this trailhead, head south on the trail for approximately 0.5 miles; you will notice the creek running alongside the trail and you will approach the waterfall (there is an opening in the tree line where you have good visibility of the creek and the fall). From here, there is opportunity to photograph the waterfall and practice your long exposure shots. 

If you are taking long exposure shots during the day, it may be helpful to bring a Neutral Density filter for your lens.
