Our Experience:

Janji is a brand that manufactures running and athleisure stemming from and benefitting eco-conscious ethics. The company combines items such as shorts, pants, shirts and hoodies with sourcing a portion of their fibers from recycled materials, and giving a percentage of profits to clean water efforts in developing communities.

As a runner, I have a preference for lightweight outfits that feel comfortable and can withstand a variety of environmental elements. Janji's Transit Tech line are made to be moisture- and sweat-wicking, and have a Durable Water Repellant finish that will help fend off a light rain, which has been helpful with the Spring conditions that have settled in here.

The Transit Tech Rover Hoodie has the feel of a lightweight softshell and the fit of a casual baselayer. A comfortable light windblocking shell material with DWR finish helps keep any light moisture from penetrating the hoodie, and a fitted hood and thumb holes give extra options to help keep the warmth in, though overall the hoodie is light enough not to feel cumbersome or uncomfortable. A diagonal half-zip lets the wearer further adjust for comfort and heat retention. Meant for cooler conditions, the TT Rover has a mix of features in a lightweight top that's suitable for running in most cool weather conditions.

Janji's Transit Tech Pant is made from such a lightweight material, it might feel as if you're not wearing running pants at all. Also made of a moisture wicking, water repellant recycled polyester, the Transit Tech Pants have an athleisure fit, and look fine to wear out and around rather than just on runs. A semi-elastic hem with drawstring helps keep them up, and a couple fabric loops on the rear make them easy to drape a hat from or toss onto a hook in your closet.
