Camp at Letchworth State Park and explore the scenic "Grand Canyon of the East." The Genesee River flows through the gorge over three main waterfalls and between cliffs as high as 600 feet. There are 66 miles of trails to choose from, many vistas to catch a sunrise or sunset and several waterfalls to enjoy.
The Highbanks camping area is located on northern end of the park. Entering the park from the Mount Morris the camper registration will be 6 miles in on Park Road.
Pick up a park map and choose some of the many sites to explore whether it is hiking or just driving through the park to some of roadside accessible vistas, the options are abundant within this beautiful park. Spend the day exploring and then come back to your campsite to relax around the campfire!

Reviews
Car camping; drive in sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Each loop has bathrooms with showers and water spigots. Campground is over ten miles from the main attractions, the 3 falls. Hiking is easy. Trails are all relatively flat and wide. Can find some hiking that approximates back country in Park's Northern end. Camp store sells ice and other essentials.
