The Brooklyn Bridge is an amazing photography subject with Manhattan as a backdrop. The bridge provides easy access and has a grass lawn to set up and relax on.

Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city doesn't always require actually leaving the city. Hanging out next to the East River and focusing on photographing the Brooklyn Bridge can be just what you need to clear your head and get your fix for some outdoors time. This is a great spot to practice your night photography - the city lights and river reflections create some pretty awesome landscapes.

Grab a coffee and a crepe from Roomr around the corner and post up for a few hours of shooting, snacking, and chillin.

Photograph the Brooklyn Bridge Reviews

Like in every movie or postcard you’ve seen of this bridge, there’s no place or angle, that doesn’t photograph beautifully! Nighttime is the best because of all the lights!

If you go to walk the bridge/take photos, go in the early morning. The light is nice, but you'll get folks who are working out/exercising and not the tourists who are there for photos.

No matter what your viewpoint is, this is worth visiting for sunset! Iconic!

Beautiful in every aspect - the bridge itself, the views from the bridge, where both ends lead. You are walking on history when you walk(run or cycle!) the Brooklyn Bridge!

The Brooklyn Bridge is a fantastic photography subject with Manhattan as a backdrop. The bridge is easy to get to and on.

On a weekend many yachts and sailboat are up and down the river. I prefer doing long exposure photography which will help blur out those objects.
