Take a Stroll around the Pond at Delco Park

The main attraction at the park is of course the large pond, with paved walking trails leading around it. Jutting out into the middle is a covered fishing pavilion, and you're likely to see several people casting rods there and along the southern banks.

This metro park also has high quality sand volleyball courts with officiating platforms, four softball diamonds, and several soccer fields. If you have little ones, there is a small playground by the pond. Perhaps the most unique addition to the park is a well cared for dirt track BMX park.

There are indoor bathrooms across from the memorial area, as well as several porta-johns by the volleyball courts and BMX park. The field between the pond and playground is the perfect spot to picnic and throw a frisbee or football.
