Steel Head Falls are awesome year around becuase the offer amazing cliff jumping spots during the summer and rad photography during the winter!
Following along the Dechutes river for half a mile you will see where the river progressively gets more aggressive. On both sides of the trail you will see beautiful mountain inclines and jagged cliffs. If your lucky you might just see a bald eagle soaring high above! Along with Steel Head being a great place to go cliff jumping during summer, it is also a good place to fish. Winter is beautiful with the falls running stronger than ever so it makes for great photography and the die hard cliff jumpers! ;)
