Description

Added by Austin Jackson

Upper McCord Creek Falls is a beautiful double falls that is easy to get to and is not as well known as its neighbors.

Starting at the John B Yeon Trailhead parking lot, begin to walk into the forest. After a little more than a quarter mile, you will see a fork in the road, with one way leading to Elowah Falls, and the other way leading to Upper McCord Creek Falls. Take the trail leading to Upper McCord Creek. The trail will begin to climb, but not too steeply. Keep following the trail and eventually you will reach Upper McCord Creek Falls on your left after 1.1 miles. On the way up, you will be walking next to a cliff, however, a handrail is guarding you from falling off. To return, go back the way you came. If you are feeling up for an added adventure, go on the Elowah Falls trail, which is a beautiful neighboring hike.

Upper McCord Creek Falls Reviews

I’m glad not many people go here as it is so natural and hasn’t been disturbed but at the same time. MORE PEOPLE NEED TO GO HERE!

Just hiked it 5 minutes ago and fell in love. Not too steep but offers beautiful views.

Beautiful and not too difficult.
