Gorgeous views up and down the Oregon Coast including Haystack Rock and China Creek

The Bandon State Natural area is a wide, mostly undeveloped section of the South Coast that is perfect for beachcombing, exploration, and fat tire biking with fun driftwood for tricks and jumps along with large flat shallow areas extending far out into the ocean.

Sure you will get wet and always be aware of sneaker waves and ocean conditions, but where else can you bike around feeling like you are flying on top of the Pacific Ocean? There are numerous access points to the Natural Area, and local guides and rentals are available.

To get there head south out of Bandon approximately four miles before turning right onto Beach Loop Road. As the road turns right to head north there is a well marked access road to the right leading to a parking area that overlooks China Creek and the beach.
